What if I don't know the first thing about WIX website maintenance?

That is alright! Once your site is launched we schedule a 1-hour video chat where I walk you through your site and show you what you need to know to update and familiarize yourself with it.  I also record this for you, so you can reference it later.

If I book today, how much do I pay?

Accepted Answer

I require a 35% non-refundable deposit with your contract to save your spot on my design calendar. The rest of the payment is due on launch day!

Question 3

I want a website but I am on a major budget, what can you do for me?"

Accepted Answer

A website is an investment into your career, just like headshots, voice lessons + classes. It may be seem pricey now, but you will be glad you did it in the long run.

Question 4

Are the domain name + hosting expenses included in the total investment price?

Accepted Answer

No — purchasing your domain name + premium hosting plan on WIX is a separate cost. It is important to have your name as the website's domain for career purposes, but if you choose to stay with the free website that is fine too.
 
If you already have a domain purchased elsewhere, no worries, it can be transferred. Let's chat.

What's the deal with domain + hosting plans?

Accepted Answer

When you upgrade your free WIX website to a premium hosting plan, you can purchase a domain name at the same time. 
 
You can also go through other sites such as GoDaddy, Blue Host etc. for the domain name and transfer it to WIX.
 
Hosting, however must be purchased through WIX. I suggest the Combo plan.

When can you build my site?

I generally schedule projects 1-3 months in advance!

I don't live in the same area, can we still work together?

Absolutely, that is the beauty of the Internet! I am based out of New York City (usually), but have worked with fabulous clients in Minnesota, Pennsylvania and Illinois!

Will you write my copy/text?

I am not a copy writer, I can help you tweak your wording but I want your website to sound like you, not me.

What platform do you build websites on?

Accepted Answer

WIX, because it is an easy to use, drag and drop interface! When I transfer your website to you, it is a seamless transition and you don’t have to be a tech genius in order to update your site yourself.
